Nature of the Service
PT. Surya Global Cemerlang (SGC) operates strictly as a Manning, Recruitment, and Crew Management Consultant. SGC provides technical vetting, matching, and processing services to connect qualified Indonesian Seafarers with global Shipowners and Vessel Managers (Principals).
Not a Direct Employment Relationship
SGC is not the employer of the seafarers. All Employment Agreements (Seafarer Employment Agreements / SEA) are executed directly between the Seafarer and the hiring Shipowner/Principal. SGC does not assume any liability or obligations arising from the employment contract, including but not limited to payroll, insurance, medical expenses, or repatriation, which remain the sole responsibility of the Principal.
Limitation of Liability Regarding Data
While SGC's Technical Team conducts rigorous vetting and authentication of all seafarer certifications, documents, and Marlins English scores, the final verification, competency assessment, and hiring decision rest entirely with the Principal. SGC shall not be held liable for any inaccuracies, omissions, or misrepresentations in the candidate profiles provided.
Legal Compliance
SGC operates in strict compliance with Indonesian Maritime Regulations and MLI (Maritime Labour Convention) standards where applicable, ensuring all recommended candidates possess valid STCW certifications.
